This bed topper is way too bg for evena twin bed it is way bigger than it looks in its picture. My son couldnt even sleep in the bed with it on he kept on saying he felt like it was going to fall on him. I tried using it as a play tent but it is really big it took up the play area.

We were disappointed in the Thomas the Tank Engine Topper because it fits on top of the mattress instead of underneath. The Cars topper fits under the top mattress and is more secure as a result, in addition to the fact that you can put the child between the sheets, change the bed, etc. and not disturb the topper. The Thomas topper wabbles alot and has to be removed to change the bed. In addition, you have the child sleeping on the topper insted of on the sheets, as the sheets will not stay in place on the topper. Still, he does like sleeping in it and it accomplished our goal.

My 5 year old loves it and it looks just like a train. Assembly was as simple as opening the box. It just unfolds and you place it over your twin bed, and instantly you have a Thomas the Train bed at a much more reasonable price then the Thomas Toddler bed. I would recommend this toy to all.

My 2 year old son is a huge Thomas fan. I bought the bed topper so that my son could transition from the toddler bed to a twin bed. This topper made the transition fun and easy. My son loves his new bed. This topper is easy to set up although there are four little plastic rods that do not fit where the instructions say they should go. Other than that, this topper is great. I would recommend that if your child is transitioning from a toddler bed to a twin bed, make sure you have bed rails on both sides of the bed. My son fell between the topper and the bed.

This was a great birthday present. To use it, though, we had to take the bed all apart and get rid of the bed's original wooden headboard and footboard because the bed tent would not fit over those. So, now, we have the boxspring on the floor and mattress on top, with the Thomas bed tent surrounding that. We do have the bed next too the wall, so maybe that helps things to stand up properly.

It makes the bed nice and cozy, and our son just loves it so much. He always went to bed pretty well, but now he can't wait to get into bed and go to sleep.

I was afraid it would be difficult to change the sheets and even make the bed, but it is not that more trouble to do it with the bed tent in place.

We think this was a great purchase and highly recommend it to parents who are willing to change your bed's setup to use it.
